Dr. Peter Broberg
Dr. Broberg was born in Iowa, but grew up in Richardson, TX. After high school, he studied at the University of Texas, graduating with highest honors in Anthropology. He attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and graduated with high honors in 1978. After an intership at Mercy Hospital in San Diego, he continued his eye residency in Houston at Baylor College of Medicine before beginning his practice in 1983 in South Austin. During his training, he was elected Chief Resident and awarded Outstanding Intern. He continues to be a member of Alpha Omega Alpha honor fraternity. He is also a current member of the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, member of the Texas Ophthalmology Society and the Austin Ophthalmology Society. He is also currently a member of the Travis County Medical Association and a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology. He has been voted by peers and featured in Texas Monthly magazine as one of Austin's "Super Doctors" and Austin Monthly's Magazine "Best Doctor" recognition for 3 years in a row. He has also been recognized by the Consumers Research Council of America as one of "America's Top Ophthalmologists" in 2006. He resides in South Austin with his wife, Diane and his two children, Abby and Danny. In his free time, Dr. Broberg enjoys sailing, jogging, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Halsey Settle
Dr. Settle was born and raised in Corsicana, TX and graduated from Corsicana High School. He attended Oklahoma State University on an athletic scholarship, receiving three varsity letters, and graduating with a Bachelors of Science degree in Physiology. He was selected one of the "Top Ten Graduating Seniors" . He attended medical school at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston graduating in 1971. After graduation, he performed his internship at Brackenridge hospital in Austin and subsequently went into the Navy serving on active duty for 10 years as a Submarine/Diving Medical Officer. During his active duty tour in the Navy he completed his Ophthalmology Residency training at the Naval Regional Medical Center in San Diego from 1976 through 1979. After release from active duty in 1980 Dr. Settle returned to Corsicana and joined the Medical Arts Clinic where he had a very successful practice in general ophthalmology and became a leading refractive surgeon for the local area. He continued his Naval service in the Naval Reserve as the Commanding Officer of several Medical Units at Naval Air Station Dallas completing 27 years of total service and retiring in 1993 with the permanent grade of Captain. He was very active in raising his children in Corsicana involving himself in multiple school and community activities, and served on many local boards including the local schoolboard. After 19 years in Corsicana, he moved to Austin to be near his family, becoming a partner with Dr. Broberg in 1999. Dr. Settle is a member of the American Medical Association, Association of Military Surgeons of the United States, a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a member of the Texas Medical Association, A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the American Board of Ophthalmology. He also is a current member of Travis County Medical Society, Texas Ophthalmology Society, and Austin Ophthalmology Society. He has been voted by peers as one of Austin's "Best Doctor's" as featured in Austin Monthly Magazine, as well as being selected one of the " Best Doctors in America." . He currently residesnear Oak Hill with his wife Donna and has four children and one granddaughter who is the center of his life. He enjoys spending lots of time with them , playing golf, jogging, traveling with his wife and friends.

Dr. William McGlathery
Dr. McGlathery is the newest addition to our family of doctors. He was born and raised in Jackson, MS. After graduating high school, he attended Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. graduating with a degree in Arts. He attended medical school at the University of Mississippi in Jackson, MS, where he graduated with honors in 2000. He completed his residency and internships at the University of Missouri - Columbia Medical Center. In June 2003, he received the Scientific Research Award from Mason Eye Institute. He was also awarded Chief resident in 2004 for the Department of Ophthalmology at the Mason Eye Institute. He is Board Certified Ophthalmologist and a member of the American Ophthalmology Association, American Medical Association, Missouri State Medical Association and a current member of Travis County Medical Society, Austin Ophthalmology Society, and Boone County Medical Society. He now resides in Austin with his wife, Stacia Miles M.D. and their daughter Alexa. He enjoys cycling in the Austin area and being with family and friends.
